Joanne M. Murray is an attorney with Antheil, Maslow and MacMinn, a law firm based in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As a business lawyer, Joanne provides a broad range of legal services to small and mid-sized, privately-held companies, non-profits and regional financial institutions. Negotiating and drafting contracts such as leases, software licenses, consulting agreements, employment agreements
and non-disclosure agreements.
Supporting entrepreneurs who are buying or selling businesses and/or commercial real estate.
Assisting with commercial lending transactions, having represented both lenders and borrowers.
Guiding business owners through new entity formations.
Documenting buy-sell, partnership and LLC agreements.
Handling and providing advice on corporate record-keeping.
Joanne has lectured on various business law topics, including Buying and Selling a Business, Legal Issues and Your Business, and Recent Changes in the Pennsylvania Realty Transfer Tax Regulations. She coordinates the publication of and regularly contributes articles to the Firm’s quarterly Business Law Advisor. She is the author of several articles including Software License Agreements – Beware of Hidden Code and Author, Poster or Host: Who Is Responsible for Website Content?
Joanne graduated from Temple University School of Law, cum laude, in 1990. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, cum laude, from St. Joseph’s University in 1983. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, and Bucks County Bar Association (Co-Chair of its Business Law Section, Vice Chair of its Women Lawyers Division). Joanne serves on the Board of the Bucks County Symphony Society. She is also an active volunteer with Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, where she has been a leader/advisor since 2000. |
