For the third consecutive year, TITAN Mobile Shredding, LLC has received the highest level of certification in the secure document destruction industry – NAID AAA Certification for mobile document destruction. TITAN received its first annual Certification in July 2007, becoming the first mobile document destruction company to become certified in Eastern Pennsylvania. The Certification is valid from August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010.

 

The National Association for Information Destruction or NAID, is a non-profit organization founded in 1994.  NAID is recognized internationally by many policy-makers and is often called upon to provide counsel to organizations developing information security standards and regulations. 

For the AAA Certification program, NAID audits are only conducted by a Certified Protection Professionalor CPP.  The CPP is the highest and most recognized security management accreditation achievable.  The CPP accreditation is issued to security professionals who meet stringent educational and experience requirements by ASIS International. The annual audit verifies that the document destruction company complies with the standards set forth by NAID regarding the disposal of secure information. Audit elements include Employee Clearance, Access Control, Destruction Process and Secure Processing.

TITAN Mobile Shredding is also subject to Unannounced Audits:
These are random audits which verify that confidential materials are protected.  Unannounced Audits are conducted by a trained CPP at the secure destruction facility and in the field.  Compliance with many standards audited in the Annual Audit are verified in the Unannounced Audit.
